Teacher Scholarships ($200-$500) are designed to help you advance your professional career. They may be used to help cover a variety of expenses: tuition, books, classroom materials, conferences, workshops, registration fees, or travel expenses to professional development activities.
Classroom Mini-Grants ($200-$500) can help pay for that class project that you’ve wanted to try or to purchase materials not covered by the school budget. They can help pay for a wide variety of projects and materials such as supplies, books, software, equipment, audiovisual, technology items, etc. Tell us what you need!
$250 New Classroom Start-Up Grants are designed to help teachers who are new to the profession, new to their school district, or new to their grade level with the frustrating and expensive task of setting up a new classroom. The grants can help pay for a class project that you are passionate to try or to purchase other needed materials not covered by the school budget. Get started, see what you need, then apply for needed funds.
Application Deadlines: Fall - October 1; Spring – April 1
Applications: Submit a short application describing the continuing education opportunity or class project, an itemized budget, and the academic benefit for students. All awards are competitive. All educators are eligible. Members of Professional Association of Clark County Educators and the Association of American Educators receive first preference. Awards are generously granted by the Association of American Educators Foundation.
